Understand This? The Oscars: Seeing Through "The Game"

Yes, we were all shocked during the Oscars, when a 62 year old actress, who transformed herself into a monstrous addict in the role of a lifetime, lost out to a 20-something girl who essentially played herself. But all our emotion is misdirected. We need to express our anger, our rage, our feelings of injustice. But to whom? Isn't there something else going on as well? Something bigger and more dangerous? Can we redirect our emotions to do something about that? I believe our Human Will can take us further than we believe. That is why I wrote the book Your Will and Your Win: Rescuing Your Human Will From Popular Culture and Finding Your Win.

Turquoise: 2025 Emergency Healing Color of the Year!

In 2021, I wrote a blog post about how the color turquoise is connected to the human organism in ways that we cannot see, or touch. We can, however, feel them. Can brothers and sisters really work together? Or is there always an underlying rivalry, dating back to the worst of childhood rants: “Mom always liked you best!”!!! Sometimes, the family business is on the line. Family businesses can function as well with family members, as with non-family, except when siblings are not in harmony. One of the most frequent obstacles to a thriving business founded by, and operated by, a family is a fight between, or among, siblings. Northeastern University Cente
